Milonga? It can only be Tango…

Tango milonga

A burgeoning Argentine tango scene is developing in Dulwich, with a milonga planned for this Sunday (February 24) night.
Tango South London teachers Claire Loewe and Luis Rodriguez have classes on Monday and Tuesday nights at Thomas More Hall, Lordship Lane, for a range of abilities from total beginners. About a year ago, they started holding monthly milongas at the nearby Dulwich Constitutional Club so students could use their newly-acquired skills in a social setting.

The candlelit milongas often have special guests dancing and performances by Claire & Luis. Couples, individuals and non-dancing friends and family are all welcome, in a friendly atmosphere, with milongas planned on the last Sunday of the month.  This month will have tango films shown throughout the evening. It starts at 7.15pm with a lesson and dancing from 8.15pm until 11pm.
