Blue bottles at the Horniman

Painter Bernie Victor introduces the Friends of the Horniman Museum’s art exhibition.

This weekend the Victorian Conservatory at the Horniman Museum is the venue for the annual Friends of the Horniman Art Exhibition. This is a selected show and features work by a wide selection of local artists. There are paintings, sculptures and prints in a wide selection of styles from the traditional to the abstract. Selected artists are given a space in which they can display a selection of their latest work. I was pleased to have been selected last year after trying for a few years and was rewarded by making a couple of sales, which I hope will be repeated this year.
