The current exhibition at Dulwich Picture Gallery, ‘What Are You Like?’ asks celebrities to illustrate some of their likes and a pet aversion – the results are hanging at the end of the Gallery (and some images of them are on the side bar).
Dulwich OnView asked some of the Gallery staff to reveal themselves in text.

Last month the Director of Dulwich Picture Gallery, Ian Dejardin and the Head of Communications, Kate Knowles, told us what they are like.
Today Xavier Salomon, the Curator at Dulwich Picture Gallery, joins in.

Animal - Camels.
Book – Stendhal “The Charterhouse of Parma”.
Clothes – Taylor-made suits, socks, ties.
Comfort – Hot baths, breakfast in bed.
Food – Guinea-fowl, scallops,courgettes, marzipan.

Pastime – Going to the opera, swimming, watching “Lost”.
Place - Palermo.
Possession – My grandfather’s watch.
Music – Verdi & Puccini (only with Callas!), R.E.M., Fabrizio De Andre’, Coldplay.
Shoes - Church’s; Venetian velvet slippers.
Weather – Sunny, tropical, HOT, HOT, HOT!
Pet aversion, (the thing you most love to hate) – TV.”What are you Like? Competition!
