Dulwich Shops’ Birthday Parties

There were 2 birthday parties in Dulwich on Saturday, where everyone was invited. 

villagebooks 13 birthday partyinsidewebVillage Books, the fantastic little independent bookshop in Dulwich Village, was celebrating its 13th birthday by offering everyone who passed by balloons, birthday cake, bubbly, and face painting and a 10% discount on all purchases.  It was buzzing, of course.

franklins farm shop 1st birthdayThen in Lordship Lane, Franklins Farm Shop was celebrating its first birthday with free mulled cider and (with some purchases) free packets of East African tea!

Was I glad that my shopping list included ‘The Quickening Maze’ by Adam Foulds and Franklin’s Welsh Rarebit mix!
