Local Resident is in 'Winstanley'!

After nearly 35 years, Jess Walton, who was an extra in Winstanley, (the film being screened by GalleryFilm on Monday) will be able to meet the director, Kevin Brownlow again.

Thanks to local networking, Dulwich OnView discovered Jess, and thanks to GalleryFilm, Kevin Brownlow is coming to talk about Winstanley.

Jess has written about her memories of that time.

“It was a truly memorable experience as a 10 year old. My whole family were there. We were allowed to dress-up and run around the woods with our friends and families. Everyone was involved in some way from young children through the generations to parents and maybe even grandparents. The camaraderie between everyone was wonderful.
We love watching the film trying to catch a glimpse of ourselves (it’s very hard!) It’s also a wonderful memory of people who are no longer with us. If I could do it all again today with my family I would!”
