One Hundred Artists wanted!

The clocks will go back but you’re invited to come forward with your Art for an exhibition at the Dulwich Test and Service Centre, 78-80 Hindmans Road, East Dulwich, SE22 9NG for ONE day only: Sunday 28 October.

On the following day the garage will be destroyed (business relocating to Tyrell Road), so we’re calling this a Knock Down Show.

Artists will pay £5 for each piece of art displayed (2D, 3D) and all proceeds will go to St Christopher’s Hospice.  Twenty percent of sales revenue will also go to the hospice.

This is the timetable:

10am-3pm    Deliver work
4pm         Exhibition opens with live music (several exciting bands)
8pm         Music stops
9pm         Exhibition closes. Artists leave with any work that’s unsold.

The building is vast but the walls are grubby. So don’t bring your best linen canvases. But do BYOB: Bring your own Bottle. We’ll provide the paper/plastic cups. Thomas Micklewhite, at the fundraising department for SCH, said: ‘It’s a fantastic idea for local people to come out to support St Christopher’s Hospice in such a creative way.’

This will be a once-in-a-lifetime jamboree. Come along and take part.

Warm clothing recommended. There’s no heating but there is a loo.

    For attention of Ian Betterton
I left five cards at the front desk on Tuesday and wonder if you have had an opportunity to look at them.
