Dulwich Picture Gallery’s recent art competition, ‘Wish You Were Here’, based on its current exhibition Cotman in Normandy, has attracted some exceptionally beautiful and inspirational entries already. The competition, which runs until 31 December, is open for both amateur and professional artists, children and adults. The aim is simple: share your best travel memories or your favourite place with us in a form of any flat medium: painting, drawing, photography or mixed media.
Whether it’s a professional watercolour, a lovely sketch, your children’s holiday scrapbook or photo montage do not hesitate to send their digital copies to competition@dulwichpicturegallery.org.uk along with a brief explanation why the pictured place means so much for you!
Your entry then will be uploaded onto the Gallery’s Facebook page where the public can vote for their favourite. The winners in both under 16 and 16+ categories will be selected by Ian Dejardin, Sackler Director of Dulwich Picture Gallery and by the public Facebook vote. The winning entry of each category will be turned into a limited edition postcard and will be available in the Gallery shop. The winners will also receive a Cotman in Normandy exhibition catalogue, exhibition poster and an invitation to the next exhibition Private View in the Gallery!

Hi Rosanne,
People can vote for their favourite until 13 January (when the exhibition itself finishes too). The winners will be announced once we counted all the votes -possibly by the end of next week.
