Seasons Greetings to all our readers!

To all our readers – It’s been a brilliant 2012 for Dulwich OnView and it seems an apt time to look back at some of the main highlights of the year.

Back in May, we presented at the MuseumNext conference (Europe’s big conference on social and digital media for the museum sector) in the beautiful city of Barcelona. We ran various online competitions on DOV – from Dulwich Picture Gallery competitions to giveaways. We were also contacted by various popular London blogs to participate in podcasts and write guest posts. Our twitter presence has been amazing and our followers list has been growing daily – follow us @dulwichonview. We’ve also had several opportunities to visit various wonderful happenings in south London from street art walks, restaurant openings to a Royal Visit!

Next year, a refreshing variety of interesting articles is coming your way…We will be reviewing A View From The Shard, Nosing around in south London, testing out Hotdesking spots, running more giveaways, updating you with regular DOV articles – think behind the scenes and lots more Dulwich Picture Gallery articles.

So please do continue reading Dulwich OnView in 2013 to find out more. In the meantime, we will be enjoying the festive period and probably indulging in one too many mince pies!

We hope you have a happy Christmas & a wonderful New Year. We will be out of the office from Friday 21st December until Friday 4th January, any enquires and emails will be dealt with on our return.

Lots of love,
Dulwich OnView

This subtle and slightly eerie version of DOV’s logo, Rembrandt’s ‘Girl at a Window’ by Rembrandt van Rijn, is by local digital artist Chris ClackMany thanks for creating this for Dulwich OnView, Chris.

About Shapa Begum

Born and raised in East Dulwich, I’ve been the Editor of Dulwich OnView since 2010. I love what I do here at Dulwich OnView, I’m absolutely passionate about south London and reaching out to local communities – you can read about my favourite Dulwich spots on Time Out London and Completely London blog. My role goes beyond editing, I write, review happenings for the blog, participate in conferences or workshops and oversee the marketing. There’s no rest for the wicked! When not working, I love to read (reading ‘A Tale for the Time Being’ at the moment), visit museums and hole up in a café somewhere.
