Duncan Jones’ MOON – loneliness in space

The Bigger Picture‘s March screening at the EDT in East Dulwich is Moon (2009), directed by Duncan Jones and starring Sam Rockwell.

A heartfelt drama of human loneliness and the effects on man of future technology.

An astronaut miner Sam Bell (Sam Rockwell) extracting the precious moon gas that promises to reverse the Earth’s energy crisis, nears the end of his three-year contract and suddenly discovers that he’s not alone…

A fresh blast of old-school sci-fi, bursting with ideas and a stellar turn from Rockwell.
