Entrants will battle it out to win one of a selection of prizes, as well as the chance to be crowned the Mince Pie Bake Off Champion 2015.

The Band of Bakers’ Mince Pie Bake Off will take place on Saturday 5th December 2015 at the award winning Brick House Bakery in East Dulwich. There will be 3 categories to enter: traditional mince pies, alternative mince pies and children’s bakes. Each category has limited spaces so bakers are encouraged to enter early. Judging the competition will be:

Dan Lepard – One of the world’s most widely-read and respected bakers, a judge on The Great Australian Bake Off and winner of the Cook Book of the Year, 2011.
Fergus Jackson – The baker behind the Brick House Bakery, the current holder of the prestigious Real Bread Campaign’s London Loaf award.
Suzanne James – Fondly known as the Queen of Canapés, she runs one of London’s leading professional catering companies.
Councillor Dora Dixon-Fyle MBE – Appointed Mayor of Southwark in May 2015
Naomi Knill – Food writer, blogger and co-founder of Band of Bakers

The Band of Bakers’ Mince Pie Bake Off is open to all amateur bakers. Entrants must send an email to mincepiebakeoffse22@gmail.com and will be required to make a donation to Peckham Foodbank.
