The Charter School will be holding its annual Christmas Fair on Thursday 24th November from 5.30pm to 8.30pm and throwing open its doors to parents, pupils and the public.
Final preparations are being put in place to welcome around 50 stallholders. This is the perfect opportunity to buy some special and unique gifts while enjoying a glass of mulled wine and some festive music.
Come and see some of the area’s best loved artists, designers, makers and purveyors of food who will be selling their wares including gorgeous vintage jewellery, handmade scarves and accessories, limited edition prints and homewares as well as greetings cards and Christmas cards, wreaths and candles. The perfect opportunity to pick up an original Christmas gift and support your local school.
On show will be Camilla Gray’s beautiful and atmospheric watercolours. Known to many art lovers as the cover of this year’s Artists’ Open House booklet.
Stephane Godec’s magical book sculptures.
Ed Povey’s witty prints taking inspiration from local scenes and place names.
Jewellery by Twisted Vintage whose original vintage necklaces, bracelets and earrings are created using old unwanted or discarded pieces of vintage jewellery.
There will be a tombola on the night with fabulous prizes. And there will be festive food, drink and music. Come and join us.
