The Push Shop has opened at Push Studios with an extensive range of adult and children’s dance and fitness wear and fun accessories. There is advice from the ex-professional dancers and fitness instructors who are on hand to help.
DOV asked Amanda Botterill, co-partner with Kevin Thatcher of Push fitness studios, how it came about.
Why did you decide to open a shop in the studio?
We saw a gap in the market for people in East Dulwich to purchase children’s ballet/dancewear and also good quality, good value adult dance & fitness wear. There is also nowhere in East Dulwich where equipment such as Swiss Balls, Pilates/Yoga Mats can be purchased – now there is! Swiss Balls are also excellent for pregnant women to exercise or just sit on!
Has the shop been popular?
We have been thrilled with the support and response that we have received from the local dance schools, parents and clients who attend our classes. We have been open for four weeks and all the products that we hold (including the most adorable gifts and cards!) have delighted our customers.
Who buys from it?
We have been lucky to have had the support of local dance/ballet schools for the children’s ballet uniforms & shoes. Parents too have been enticed by our adults fitness wear, and our adult ballet, pilates, yoga and Zumba clients have all been trying on and leaving the studio with a silver bag and a smile on their face!

Dance uniforms for the local schools are in stock plus a selection of accessories including bags, towels, lunch boxes and stationary by the very popular Tyrrellkatz.
The Push Shop is open from Tue - Fri 10am to 5pm and on Saturdays from 10am to 4pm.
