After the massive success of our Christmas Holiday Workshop in 2011, we are excited to announce that this Summer The Glee Project returns to Gleekschool, and this time for a whole 1 week workshop!
From Monday 6 to Friday 10 August (10.00am – 4.00pm daily), The Glee Project will be an action packed, fun filled week, where budding singer/dancers will be taught by many professionals from the West End and music industry!
Students can expect a fun, yet challenging week learning new skills (or developing what they already have) in all three disciplines of Singing, Dancing and Acting. Students will get to show off what they have learnt in an end of week show, for parents and friends to come and watch!
As well as group singing we will be encouraging budding soloists too and our fantastic tutors will be only too happy to develop the individual styles and talents of those who wish to present solo material!
So whether its musical theatre or pop/rock music you want to sing, or Street Dance and Hip Hop that you want to dance to THE GLEE PROJECT has something to suit everybody!
Our Christmas workshop in 2011 saw over 50 students (including a whopping 35, 15-18 years teenagers) learning vocal arrangements and routines to the most up to date and current chart hits, as well as some classics that we introduced them too!
The course takes place at the wonderful JAPS hall at JAGS on East Dulwich Grove and places can be booked by contacting the Principal either by e-mail, [email protected] or by telephone on 0203 566 9710.
The 5 day workshop costs £120 per child, (with discounts siblings) and all ages are welcome from 7 – 18 years. All students will be split into age appropriate groups where they develop their love of music and dance with like minded students!
