World Child Cancer is a small local charity, working to improve cancer diagnosis, treatment and care for children with cancer in some of the poorest countries in the world.
This year to kick start the festive season we are holding our very first Christmas Carol Service, which takes place at the Holy Trinity Church, Sloane Street, London, on the 5th December.
The service promises to be a festive treat for all, with readings by special guests, Actress Tina Hobley and presenter and Strictly Come Dancing winner, Chris Hollins, and musical performances by the wonderful Dulwich College Chapel Choir.
Originally formed in 1626, the renowned Dulwich College Chapel Choir has kindly offered to perform five carols at the service, whilst also gathering support and raising awareness of World Child Cancer throughout the College. Their fantastic support and performances will undoubtedly make the evening even more magical.
After the service, guests will be offered complementary mince pies, kindly donated by Harrods, and either a soft drink or glass of wine. There will also be a number of festive stalls, selling Christmas gifts and iced biscuits.
Even though the service is not being held in south London, we would love to invite all those in the Dulwich and South London area to join us in celebrating the festive season, whilst also raising money to help children around the world suffering with cancer.
World Child Cancer’s Christmas Carol Service: Thursday 5th December, 7:30pm at Holy Trinity Church, Sloane Street, London. Tickets cost £10 for Children, £20 for Adults.
