Cool Bermondsey Street posters and prints‏

South East London artists Dougal Gordon and Steve Overbury have knocked up some colourful limited edition posters and prints of Bermondsey Street, which, as it says on their website, has become “one of the hippest roads in the coolest capital city in the world.”

Long term Bermondsey resident Dougal Gordon has spent the last year drawing and painting some of the street’s most interesting and iconic buildings. Steve, from Dulwich, has compiled a photo poster and the Bermondsey Stink Map, which details where the foul smelling industries of the area were situated, and provides a potted history of the area. Their site offers visitors a chance to download a free illustrated article entitled The Great Stink of Bermondsey Street about the nasty niffs of Victorian London SE1.
