Dick Whittington will be making an appearance in the beautiful surroundings of Fulham Palace on the 13 Dec only. Find out if the streets of London really are paved with gold in this classic tale adapted for a young audience. This is a family pantomime with colourful sets and lots of audience participation.

Fulham Palace’s Panto is perfect for younger children.

Cinderella and the Beanstalk at Theatre 503 is a quirky take on the traditional format suitable for all the family. Josh, John and James have written a pantomime. It’s a riotous adventure with a whole host of exciting characters. They have fashioned the props, hired the costumes, booked the venue and rigged the lights; the stage is set. But on arriving at the theatre they realise they have forgotten one vital component: a cast. Playing from the 25th Nov - 2nd Jan

For those old enough to remember him as Mini-Me in Austin Powers Verne Troyer’s appearance in Peter Pan at the New Wimbledon Theatre will be a hard one to turn down. He is, at only 2ft, 8 inches tall, the smallest person ever to have performed in a UK panto! Also starring comedian Marcus Brigstocke and dancing troupe Flawless. Runs until 10th January

The Night Before Christmas on 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th 16th, 17th and 19th December. Head to Gary’s Warehouse in Bermondsey for a dark anti-panto where an elf tries to talk himself out of a hostage situation. Definitely not for kids this shows looks perfect for any hardcore Christmas cynic. As their website proclaims ‘there’s food. There’s beer. There’s shit secret santa gifts and rude Christmas cards’. Sounds perfect.

If that wasn’t enough there are some fantastic blockbuster family shows in central London as well including The National’s Wonder.land and The Old Vic’s The Lorax.
