Local Christmas fun has been cancelled this year, but Melbourne Grove in SE22 has been decorated with festive lights and fun decorations to make you a smile during this uncertain period.
The street has been decorated by dedicated locals to brighten up a trip to the shops, to sweeten yet another walk with the kids, to bring neighbours together and to offer neighbourhood spirit to all who pass through the street. But most importantly to entice people to pass by and to make them smile as they do.
Having walked past the street one cold morning, I appreciated the Christmas decorations, it truly was a joyful place to be in at that moment. Enjoy the pictures and do take a walk down there in person.
